Snow Days

We had our first real snow days in our own house on December 29th and January 1st. 

While the boys played in the snow, Mom mostly stayed inside... wrapped in a blanket... enjoying the warm, cozy house. 

 playing in the snow was cold enough to finally convince this guy to at least wear Mom's gloves while building the snowman

 our oversized and badly-in-need-of-pruning japanese maples, dusted with snow

 we love snowmen

 and snowball fights... 

but I think I'm ready for the warmer weather now...
