Now he's TWO!

Just yesterday, our little guy turned TWO. We had a birthday party for him in our new house and lots of friends and family came down to help us celebrate. It was so much fun to see everyone and we're so grateful for all the good memories we have.

some decorations in the dining room -- dad bought a helium tank so we could have lots of balloons floating throughout the house.
The theme for the party was "Yaya/ Bop-bop" (aka Elmo/ High School Musical) and he specifically wanted an Elmo cake. We spent a lot of time looking at pictures of different cakes and talking about the differences between regular cakes and cupcake-cakes.
He told me what he wanted, and this is what I came up with...
the actual cupcake that we put his candles on...
Dad and Uncle Travie killing time playing video games while the guest of honor napped
awake at last and in a great mood, waiting for the rest of the guests to arrive
sometimes he likes being the center of attention and sometimes...

enjoying his cupcake and wiping frosting on his pants...
and on napkins...
having fun
He got lots of great gifts, including his very own blue car from Grandma and Grandpa
getting a crash course in driving...

the next day was sunny and we were able to take the car outside for a drive
he LOVED itHappy Birthday!
